Okay, it's the Stepping Stone version of a loooooooooong classic, so it can't be that great, but my kids very much enjoyed the retelling. It was a great book to focus on protagonists and antagonists. It is about the adventures of a man called D'artagnan after he leaves home to join the "Musketeers of the guard", who were the soldiers that protected king Louis of France. It was D'artagnan who thought of the motto "All for one and one for all". One day D'artagnan and his friends were ambushed by the British soldiers, and who do you think won?

The book kept me reading all night, and I learned how much the French and British hated each other and still worked out their differences.
